After we reached a year of TTC, I was so frustrated by everything being out of my control so I needed to do anything and everything in my power to help make a baby. A friend sent me a link to this The 30 Day PCOS Diet Challenge (it's free!) and I decided go big or go home. I had already cut out sugar and white starches when we first started TTC to help my PCOS but clearly it wasn't enough. I signed up for the one that started in February and vowed to myself to stick to it until I got pregnant. Was it super hard? YES 100% one of the most challenging things I've decided to do as bread and cheese are my favorite foods. Do I regret it? No way. During the 30 days the founder Kym guides you through transitioning into making better choices and educating you as to why you're doing it for your body. I'm crazy and went full gungho from day 1. Kym send you a ton of yummy recipes to try but obviously as long as you follow the foods to avoid you can come up with your own.

In the first few weeks I ended up dropping 10-15 pound right away and plateaued after that. That was a big deal for me because I find it next to impossible to lose weight even when I eat healthy and exercise because of my PCOS. I never felt bloated anymore and I got to eat way more food than I ever did before. There is an awesome community for it on insta and a facebook group that help hold you accountable but also support you through it.

I fell off the wagon once I got pregnant and I definitely don't have the self discipline right now after my ectopic but I can tell I still am making good choices for meals even though I have been indulging in some sad snacks. If you are up for a challenge, I highly recommend it.
