I am 1 in 10. We are 1 in 8.

That makes us sound special or lucky but it sure doesn't feel that way. I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), a life long chronic illness that affects my whole body. Because of this, my husband and I are now considered infertile. Any woman under the age of 35 who cannot get pregnant within a year is labeled as infertile....even if it just means we need some help.
When you fall in love and start dreaming of your future, you never expect to be here. You fail over and over as people around you get pregnant left and right. To say you feel inadequate is an understatement.
I decided to start this blog not only as an outlet for myself during my journey but also so that other women and couples can maybe feel some comfort that they are not alone. Check back to keep up with our journey, hopefully I can make you laugh, cry and feel hope.
