So I had a follow up meeting with my RE after talking to the surgeon and we decided to create a new plan.

For now we are going to scrap surgery, my doctor thinks there's no proof that it's necessary yet, so it's not worth holding off for while I'm trying to lose weight. So here's the new plan we are going to start in 2021.
After my follow up with the weight loss doctor, I will call that next cycle for another round of Letrozole. This time I will get double the dose. Then around CD 10 I will go get an ultrasound to make sure there's eggs growing in there and pick up a trigger shot to make sure those eggs get evicted.
We are going to try that for 3 months and then move on to IUI (Intrauterine Insemination). There's a few caveats to this plan, #1 when I get the COVID vaccine we need to take a few months break just because there's no data on how it affects pregnancy yet, but hopefully that's early 2021. #2 If I have another ectopic then I HAVE to have surgery before we continue any further, that will confirm without a doubt that there's endo lesions on my tubes.
My doctor said because I have a history of ectopics we are going to do betas and ultrasounds super early so we know as soon as possible if I'm pregnant, and if it's ectopic. I know I'm taking a risk but i'm honestly just happy to get out of this holding pattern. And in reality, losing a baby is always a risk, just an ectopic is a different kind of risk.
Do I still have to lose weight if we get to IVF? yes, but not we have months of trying other things before that might work or at the very least give me time I need to lose the weight with less pressure of the time urgency. It's such a load off.
I honestly am feeling so much more positive about this. Maybe 2021 is our year,
