We made it through month 3! I honestly can't believe this is all really happening finally. My need to nap everyday is going away with the exception of days I do a lot of physical activity, honestly my lungs get too tired too fast.

Around 11 weeks we got our results back from our genetic testing. The results were great! Not only was she negative for any chromosomal abnormality but we found out that we're having a baby girl! We now knew we were having Lucy (we had names picked out for years)

Our ultrasound was scheduled for 12w6d but I was called a few days before to reschedule because they were low on ultrasound techs. And while I know they can't help this, I couldn't help by start worrying about if our baby girl was still in there. What if I had already started telling people and I had had a missed miscarriage? I know that was crazy thinking but I couldn't help it! So even though my ultrasound was only postponed a few days to 13w3d, it was a long few days of worrying.

Ultrasound day finally came and there she was, strong heartbeat, measuring correctly. So what came next was just funny once my fears were received. This little missy didn't want us to see her. She spent the whole ultrasound, he back and butt facing us. The tech tried to get her to move and she got so annoyed she threw up some fists and covered her face. This girl was not having it, she just wanted to stay curled up in a ball. I think she's already her mother's daughter.
