We are now over 5 weeks out from my surgery and honestly I'm feeling great. The recovery didn't keep me down very long and my incisions all have healed nicely. I now have 4 little baby scars. Last week I had my period and I had ZERO cramps which is the first time ever, I'm usually in pain every month.

Yesterday, I went for my post op with the surgeon. She checked my incisions, asked about pain and gave me the final pathology report of my surgery. She explained that because my large cyst was damaging the area so much that it could have been what was causing the disruption (but we won't know for sure until we start trying again). She also said that most likely my hemorrhagic cyst was what was causing me pain. Finally, I got the ok to resume all normal activity.
I immediately called my RE and told her we could start cycles again, and she said we were good to go once I hit CD1 again. I'm feeling very positive at this point. Maybe this was all I needed, maybe now I'll be able to get pregnant. If nothing else, it's honestly comforting to know why I had an ectopic last summer (the cyst has damaged my left tube) and know that the exact scenario can never happen again. I just have a good feeling, this may be it, this may be my time.
