I've been pretty busy with school work and life the past few weeks so let's get caught up on what's been happening. This past week was my first consultation with my Reproductive Endocrinologist. Last Sunday, I saw a pineapple in the store that was on sale and it seemed like a sign. The pineapple is a commonly used symbol used among infertile woman and I knew I needed this pineapple as my good luck charm.

So Monday afternoon finally came, about 2 months since my ectopic, I was so ready to finally move on to our next steps. We had a virtual consultation because of COVID 19 but that didn't stop it from being so very big and important.

Our RE was super nice, which is always good. we are now "officially" diagnosed with infertility. I knew that once it had been a year we were but hearing her confirm it made it really official. We talked about my health history and discussed my PCOS diagnosis and the possibility that I also might have endometriosis. We talked about my weight and she confirmed I was making all the right choices cutting out sugars and high GI foods, but she did give me a number for a nutritionist that runs a fertility program to help me with ways to help (which I think I will go talk to them). She was very encouraging and positive, making it seem like we just need to find the right fertility plan for us, not that it will never happen.
So, we need to do baseline tests before we come up with any plans. We are now just waiting for my cycle to start so that testing can start. Once we have all the info we can make a plan for going forward. Fertility is so much hurry up and wait.
